I made this for my lovely friend Siou for Christmas today. It's very sparkly and gorgeous! I almost can't bear to part with it. I will need to find lots more little bits and bobs so that I can make more of these as I have seriously depleted my stocks. I had to raid my own jewellrey to finish it!! I hope she loves it as much as I do. xx

Crown

I made this little picture yesterday as I am going to an arts and crafts evening at a friends house next week. Everyone has been asked to take along anything they have created and would like to sell. All the lovely ladies are mums who make creative things in their spare time so it should be a really fun and lovely evening. I am taking some crocheted items too.

Our pizza hut

This picture was taken in the dark last Saturday evening when we fired up the clay oven and cooked delicious pizzas and bread. It was a cool Autumnal evening but was so cosy and warm in the "hut" we stayed there for several hours, drinking a little tipple and chatting away. My children adore the pizzas that we make and enjoy creating their own to cook. We were given two lovely rustic candle holders which reflect the shape of the door on the shed and these lit the hut with a soft golden light.

The garden has suddenly become quite overgrown due to all the rain.
These are doves that we have placed on the corner of the roof.

Phil put the blackbirds up on the top of the roof. I wasn't sure I liked all the cement underneath them but now see them as sitting on nests!

Alphabet Letters

I made these from a pattern I bought on Etsy. It was quite tricky at first but I improved as I went on.
I am planning on making lots of words or names.

Gorgeous skirt

I spent all day making this gorgeous little skirt for myself. I had to unpick the zip three times but it is finally finished and I learnt a lot about how to use the sewing machine etc. Also I learnt from my mistakes so hopefully the next one will be easier. But it is lined and has a zip and is very wearable so I am pleased as it was my first attempt.
